FAQ
Do I need to be a member to have sessions with a personal Trainer?
If all you’re doing is seeing your trainer, all you’ll need is to pay a small access fee of R350/month, which can be found here: Subscribe to plan: Horizen Gym Access Fee – Paystack.
Do I need to be a member to join group classes?
No, however it does work out cheaper if you are coming to more than one group class a week.
What type of gym is Horizen?
Horizen is a Boutique Fitness Studio, that offers short-term flexible gym access memberships (great for the nomads) and small group strength training classes. There are also longer term memberships available if you prefer commitment.
What Kind Of Equipment Is There At Horizen?
We have a mixture of ‘functional’ and lifestyle training equipment, to fulfill the needs of all training modalities.
How Do The Group Classes Work?
Group classes are limited to 12 people, and we take drop-ins. They’re divided into strength-based classes and cardio-based classes. For info, visit our ‘Group Classes’ page.
How Does The Training/Nutrition Guidance Work?
The guidance is delivered during your weekly/monthly (depending on your membership package) consultation, which is a 15minute slot. During these sessions we will help ensure that everything you’re doing is aligned with what you’re trying to achieve.
